Overview
A PHP and MySQL application for running football tournaments. Administrators create and schedule tournaments, while visitors follow match results, standings and tournament details.
It was built by a team of four developers, which made the engineering process as important as the code: I coordinated tasks, reviewed pull requests and kept delivery on structured Git branches.
What I built
- Led a team of 4 developers: coordinated tasks, reviewed pull requests and delivered through structured Git branching.
- Architected a scalable MVC system with a custom lightweight framework and RBAC authentication.
- Engineered the tournament engine: automatic brackets, rankings, indexed MySQL and a full UML suite.
